Here’s one of a few posts that will emerge over the next days/weeks.
While it may seem as if things have gone quiet and fallen off the map a bit in cyberspace, in regards to things going on in the Floating Point studio, it has actually been quite the opposite. The fluidity of life is in full swing and the stage is getting set for the next phase of it all.
In the meantime, I’ve created some ringTones for both iPhone and Android devices from the album “See None, Hear None, Speak None”. Also available for Android are sounds for Notifications and Alarms (iPhone will become available in time I think). These are FREE download packs, direct from the source and are 100% free of spam, ads and other poo poo. Please enjoy and thank you

Will post more soon. Just wanted to finally update this with something new!

My new solo album “See None, Hear None, Speak None” has arrived and is shipping immediately. This is an exciting release for me and perfectly bookends a busy year, including my collaboration with Steve Roach on “The Desert Inbetween”, released back in January.
This album is currently available exclusively at my web store and in physical CD format:
So, check out the new track samples up on the site and give this album a spin if you like what you hear. Enjoy the ride!

Brian Parnham news autumn 2011
Greetings and happy 11/11/11!
It has been a super busy and active summer here back east on a lot of levels. It’s a bit shocking to have the Fall trample in here with an October snowstorm and pretty much tell me “Dude, your Summer is over!”.
Originally, this was going to be an announcement of my latest release “See None, Hear None, Speak None” – meaning it was slated to be released on this date. However, I hit a few snags late in the production process here in the studio about a month ago and it was clear that a release on this date would not be possible.
However, I am happy to say that this release should be available in December. The new album consists of 15 tracks. It feels like a transitional album for me as I dip my toe into some of my other influences and let those flow. A lot of different areas explored on this one. More details and track sample will be coming soon. In the meantime, the final tracking list follows:
“See None, Hear None, Speak None”
1- See None, Hear None, Speak None
2- Head in the Sand
3- Suspended Plumes
4- Eroding Shore
5- Race to the Source
6- Half Full
7- Tipping Point
8- Half Empty
9- Business as Usual
10- While We’re Here
12- Earth Mourning
13- Enjoy the Ride
14- Everyone Gets Their Turn
15- Last Breath
More news soon on this transformational release!

Hello and welcome to my new WordPress site for my blog type of stuff that, in the “olden days” would have been sent via email. Just a quick summary here to get things moving along. This blog site is a work-in-progress for me for the next… er.. well, at least a little while.
This year, I have been focusing more of my listener contact utilizing social media outlets- Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and now WordPress. I’m discovering more and more that I can disseminate information on almost anything related to my audio/video explorations utilizing these outlets instead of the random and uber-rare email updates that I send out once or twice a year. The inter-connectivity of these sites also helps keep everything updated all at once and that keeps these sites more fresh- unlike my stale personal website these days!
So, here we go. If you want to keep up to date on things that are going on here, feel free to subscribe to this. You can also follow me on Twitter and Facebook. Twitter feeds are my most frequently used method these days as I can link them in with other accounts.
More news from the Floating Point Studio soon!
